LIXIL, through American Standard and GROHE as headline sponsors, placed the spotlight on the region’s leading figures in architecture, interior design, development, real estate, and hospitality at The Asia Pacific Property and Hotel Awards 2026, held at the Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park in Bangkok. The event recognized 440 winning projects across the region and concluded with a gala presentation of the American Standard Innovation Award, the GROHE Sustainability Award, and the GROHE Luxury Award.
Centered on the theme of “Innovation,” this year’s edition reflected how the property sector continues to evolve amid shifting global demands, where design thinking, materials, construction methods, and emerging technologies play an increasingly central role in shaping industry standards.
A total of 814 entries were evaluated under a rigorous judging process led by an independent panel of more than 100 industry experts, with assessments focused on aesthetics, functionality, and originality. Country performance showed Thailand leading with 116 awards, followed by China with 74. India secured 65 recognitions, while Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam followed with 48, 47, 45, and 36 awards, respectively.

“LIXIL is proud to partner with the IPA (International Property Awards) for eight consecutive years to celebrate and elevate excellence within the property sector across the Asia-Pacific,” said Audrey Yeo, Leader, LIXIL Water Technology, Asia Pacific. “This year’s focus on Innovation is especially timely as we continue to observe rising demand for self-wellness and sustainability in new homes and hospitality projects. At LIXIL, partnering with leading industry leaders enables us to co-create innovative solutions to meet changing demands with differentiated projects that appeal to homeowners and investors.”
During the program, Antoine Besseyre des Horts, Leader, LIXIL Global Design, Asia, delivered a keynote presentation titled “Elevating Water Experiences Through Innovation.” He discussed how LIXIL’s power brands leverage innovation to enrich everyday water rituals by responding to evolving expectations around personalization, hygiene, and the concept of the home as a sanctuary. He further emphasized that innovation extends beyond technology and novelty, underscoring the importance of aligning purpose, human needs, and environmental responsibility so that design meaningfully enhances daily living.
LIXIL also translated its innovation theme into experiential installations that combined design and technology.

American Standard introduced the Acacia Supasleek Collection, reinforcing its focus on purposeful design and sleek minimalism. The installation featured curated vignettes showcasing the collection’s versatility for both residential and hospitality applications. Guests were also offered an immersive VR bathroom experience that allowed real-time visualization of customized design concepts.
GROHE SPA presented a highly personalized bathroom concept focused on seamless spatial design and refined detailing. The installation featured signature elements, including the Grohtherm Aqua Tile, Rainshower Aqua Tile, and Atrio Private Collection in Phantom Black, highlighting a tailored approach to modern wellness spaces.
The American Standard Innovation Award was presented to The Oasis by line+ studio in Chengdu, Sichuan, China for its vertical villa concept that integrates high-end design with sustainable living. The project uses a bifurcated layout and staggered balcony system to address privacy and noise challenges in dense urban environments, while creating an “Ecological Habitat” defined by 270-degree views and nature-integrated courtyards that blur the line between interior and landscape.

At the same event, Botanica Grand Modern Zen by Rhyme Design Group in Phuket, Thailand received the GROHE Luxury Award. Drawing from the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, the villa interprets “New Luxury” through restraint and intentional design rather than excess. Its architecture functions as a private retreat that merges with its natural surroundings through flowing layouts and passive environmental strategies, balancing aesthetics with long-term well-being and sustainability.
The GROHE Sustainability Award was given to The Right Life by Mana Projects in Bangalore, India, a biophilic township that integrates nature-led design with high-performance engineering systems. Aligned with IGBC Gold standards, the project incorporates sponge city principles and a triple plumbing system enabling full wastewater reuse and local lake restoration. The development operates as a living park ecosystem, combining resource efficiency and microclimate engineering to reduce urban heat and support resilient, future-ready living.
