Among the evening’s major victors was Landco Pacific Corporation. The firm clinched multiple accolades in the Architecture and Development segments for its striking Nautilus at CaSoBe project situated in Calatagan, Batangas. Reflecting on the triumph, Landco Pacific Corporation President and CEO Erickson Manzano emphasized the weight of the achievement, sharing: “It’s such a big deal for us to be able to win in the Asia Pacific Property Awards and we’re very proud to be representing the Philippines and the Asia Pacific region. [For our company] we do not just build boxes, they are architecturally iconic. I really think that it’s really the architecture that caught the judges’ attention [as] the Nautilus is shaped like a cruise ship, and was inspired by Captain Nemo’s ship in Jules Verne’s 10,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Aside from that, it’s a highly sustainable building. We have rainwater harvesting; double piping, where we use recycled water to flush the toilets. There are a lot of sustainable features inside. We’re very proud of the developments we’ve made.”
When talking about how GROHE delivers on its client promise, Manzano added, “We are constructing resident condominium units, [and] when people live in a place what is the most important? What you see, smell, and feel. Those are the very most important things. Now GROHE fits very much into that mold, it is of the best quality.”

Accepting the honor on behalf of the company was Architect Samantha Pobre, who underlined the democratization of green spaces: “For us, the most prestigious award that we’ve ever received is anything for sustainability and this particular award from IPA is very special to us is because it’s for Una Apartments, which we built for the mid-market, meaning its more affordable, so having an award in sustainability really goes to show that sustainability is for all, not just for the select few. We have several certifications for the project, setting it apart from many others as very few get it. For Arthaland, we’ve never positioned ourselves to be the biggest developer in the country or anywhere in the world but we are proud to be the best, so getting American Standard for Una Apartments shows that it is aligned with our vision in sustainability.”
