Hotel101-Madrid hits record daily revenues as global expansion gains pace

Hotel101 Global Holdings Corp. marked a milestone in its international expansion after Hotel101-Madrid generated more than €100,000, or around PHP7.18 million, in recurring room revenues in a single day on May 19, 2026, while operating at full occupancy.

The performance sets a new company record for Hotel101 Global, whose shares trade on NASDAQ under the ticker HBNB, and highlights the growing traction of its first operating property outside the Philippines.

Opened in March 2026, the 680-room Hotel101-Madrid has quickly emerged as a key component of the company’s global ambitions, with over 80% of its guests coming from Europe, North America, and Latin America. The company said the strong occupancy and revenue performance reflect sustained demand for the property and reinforce the viability of its standardized, asset-light hospitality model focused on recurring income generation.

Positioned in Valdebebas, Madrid, Hotel101-Madrid sits on a 6,593-square-meter site adjacent to the upcoming Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix circuit. The property overlooks the iconic semicircular Turn 12 known as “La Monumental” and has also been designated as an Official Hotel partner of the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix from 2026 to 2035 through an exclusive agreement with MATCH Hospitality AG.

The development is currently among the five largest hotels in Madrid by room count and benefits from proximity to key destinations in the city. It is located roughly a three-minute walk from Valdebebas Train Station, four minutes from the IFEMA convention complex, five minutes from the Real Madrid Sports Complex, and seven minutes from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas International Airport.

Designed to support both leisure and business travelers, the hotel integrates a range of modern amenities, including two swimming pools, a fitness center, a children’s playground, business and function facilities, and an all-day dining restaurant, HBNB Kitchen by award-winning La Sucursal. Guests also have access to the company’s proprietary Hotel101 app, which enables digital check-in and keyless room access.

More than a flagship property, Hotel101-Madrid serves as the operational blueprint for the company’s wider international rollout. The development functions as the global prototype for Hotel101 Global as it pursues its long-term target of building one million standardized rooms across 100 countries, to become the world’s largest single-brand hotel chain.

The Madrid property is also the start of recurring overseas hotel revenues for the company. This is expected to expand further with the opening of the 482-room Hotel101-Niseko in Hokkaido, Japan, scheduled for December 2026, which will generate recurring revenues in Japanese yen.

Hotel101 Global is also preparing for its largest annual expansion to date, with 2,229 additional hotel rooms slated to become operational in 2026. Following the opening of Madrid, upcoming launches include 519 rooms in Davao, 548 rooms in Cebu, and 482 rooms in Niseko, Japan.

In the Philippines, the 518-room Hotel101-Manila and the 606-room Hotel101-Fort continue to maintain consistently high occupancy levels, supporting the group’s broader recurring revenue strategy.

The company said 2026 is expected to mark a major turning point for DoubleDragon as it scales recurring revenues across its expanding portfolio of community malls, industrial warehouses, office leasing assets, and hospitality developments in both local and international markets.
