DoubleDragon Corporation’s international hospitality ambitions are beginning to translate into recurring revenues, with its subsidiary Hotel101 Global, Inc. (NASDAQ: HBNB) reporting strong early performance from Hotel101 Madrid, its first operational property outside the Philippines.

Since opening in March 2026, the 680-room hotel in Spain has generated more than 45,000 hotel night bookings, equivalent to €5.44 million (approximately P387 million) in revenues. The initial results mark a significant milestone for Hotel101 Global as it builds its presence in overseas markets and strengthens its recurring income streams.
The Madrid property serves as the group’s first revenue-generating hotel operation in Europe, with another international opening on the horizon. Hotel101-Niseko, a 482-room development in Hokkaido, Japan, is scheduled to open in December 2026 and is expected to begin generating recurring revenues in Japanese yen.

Located in Valdebebas, one of Madrid’s emerging districts, Hotel101 Madrid occupies a 6,593-square-meter site beside the future Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix circuit. Through an exclusive agreement with MATCH Hospitality Europe, the hotel has been named the Official Hotel Partner of the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix from 2026 to 2035.
Among the largest hotels in the Spanish capital, the property offers convenient access to key destinations. It is within walking distance of Valdebebas Train Station, minutes away from the IFEMA convention complex and the Real Madrid Sports Complex, and a short drive from Madrid-Barajas International Airport.

The hotel features an all-day dining restaurant, HBNB Kitchen by award-winning La Sucursal, along with two swimming pools, a fitness center, children’s playground, business center, function rooms, 24-hour reception services and a proprietary mobile application that enables digital check-in and keyless room access.
Back in the Philippines, Hotel101’s existing properties continue to post strong occupancy levels. The 519-room Hotel101-Manila and the 606-room Hotel101-Fort remain among the brand’s established performers, supporting the company’s growing hospitality portfolio.

The year also marks a major expansion phase for DoubleDragon’s hotel business. A total of 2,229 new hotel rooms are expected to become operational in 2026, representing the company’s largest single-year room rollout to date. Following the opening of Hotel101 Madrid, new inventory is slated to come online through 519 rooms in Davao, 548 rooms in Cebu, and 482 rooms in Niseko, Japan.
The upcoming Hotel101-Niseko project will also formally establish the brand’s presence in Japan. Once completed, it is expected to be among the largest hotel developments in the Niseko area and will add another source of recurring foreign-currency revenues for the company.

Beyond hospitality, DoubleDragon expects 2026 to be a pivotal year as recurring revenues increase across its broader portfolio, which includes provincial community malls, industrial warehouses and office properties in the Philippines and overseas.
The DD Group continues to access capital markets in both the Philippines and the United States as it works toward its target of growing its equity base to P500 billion.
DoubleDragon also sees Hotel101’s asset-light model as a platform for international expansion, positioning the brand as a Philippine-developed hospitality concept that can be replicated in global markets while contributing additional US dollar inflows to the local economy.
