May brought a festive atmosphere to Sta. Lucia Mall as the Rizal-based shopping destination rolled out a month-long lineup of activities, promotions, and community events in celebration of its 35th anniversary.
Throughout the month, mallgoers were treated to a mix of lifestyle events, seasonal showcases, and retail offers that drew families, students, and longtime patrons to the retail hub. Selected tenants and department stores also participated in anniversary promos and discounts, offering shoppers access to special deals as part of the celebration.
Among the highlights was Threads of Love: A Mother’s Day Special held on May 10, where mothers and their children participated in a bracelet-making activity to create keepsakes they could take home.

The mall also had its annual Queen Sagalahan parade, which served as an early celebration leading up to Pride Month. Participants from the LGBTQ+ community showcased creative interpretations of Filipiniana fashion and formal wear during the event’s catwalk presentation. Awards were given for Best Filipiniana, Best Sagala, and Best Escort.
Another major attraction during the month was the Flores De Mayo parade, where finalists from the ongoing Generation East Model Search and Pageant 2026 presented custom-made barongs and Filipinianas in a large-scale fashion showcase. The pageant remains one of the mall’s recurring crowd-drawing events, attracting audiences from across the area each year.

Sta. Lucia Mall also began teasing its upcoming Get Up and Dance Competition, with registration expected to open in the coming months.
As the school season approaches, participating tenants have likewise started offering Back-to-School promos aimed at helping families and students prepare ahead of peak shopping periods.
