John Legend will perform a limited two-night concert at the Proscenium Theater in Rockwell, Makati City, on September 3 and 4, 2026. The shows are part of his “An Evening of Songs & Stories” tour, which marks his only performance stop in Southeast Asia.

The 13-time Grammy winner is one of only 22 individuals to achieve EGOT status, having won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award. For this tour, Legend moves away from large arena setups and full band productions to present a stripped-down performance featuring only himself and a grand piano. The program includes acoustic versions of hits like “All of Me,” “Ordinary People,” and “Tonight,” accompanied by personal anecdotes and stories from his 20-year career spanning from Ohio to Hollywood.
“I’m so thrilled to be returning to Manila,” shares Legend. “There is such a deep love and appreciation for music in the Philippines, and that’s why it’s one of my favorite places in the world to perform. And these performances will be extra special. Just you, me, and my piano – an Evening of Songs and Stories where I sing your favorites and tell you the stories behind the songs. I can’t wait!”
The choice of the Proscenium Theater provides an intimate location for the event. The venue’s Main Hall is designed with state-of-the-art natural acoustics and features a limited capacity of 776 seats. With the furthest row positioned 20 meters from the stage, the architectural layout brings the audience close to the performer, ensuring clear sound resonance throughout the space.
Tickets for the two-night engagement went on sale July 5, 2026. They are available through the TicketWorld website at ticketworld.com.ph or at physical TicketWorld outlets, including the Power Plant Mall Cinema.
