Megaworld Hotels & Resorts, the hotel arm of property giant Megaworld Corp., is expanding its Iloilo portfolio as it is scheduled to soft open its Belmont Hotel Iloilo on June 24, reflecting its confidence in the province.

The upcoming hotel is Megaworld’s third hotel development within its Iloilo Business Park, following the Richmonde Hotel Iloilo and Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo, both of which are located within the 72-hectare mixed-use development.
“The 405 rooms are more than just accommodations; they represent additional capacity for a city that continues to attract travelers, businesses, event organizers, associations, government agencies, and families looking to experience Western Visayas,” Alonte said in a press conference last week.
The general manager said with the addition of the new hotel, Megaworld Hotels & Resorts now manages approximately 25% of Iloilo City’s hotel room inventory, emphasizing that this reflects the company’s longstanding confidence in the destination and its commitment to supporting its continued growth.
“Belmont Hotel Iloilo was never built simply to add rooms. It was built to help create more opportunities for people to gather, connect, and discover what Iloilo has to offer. It was designed around a clear purpose to provide four-star standard service through an accessible mid-market pricing strategy,” Alonte added.

The 12-story property offers twin, queen, and premier room categories, as well as spacious one-bedroom suites.
