A new hotel is preparing to invite visitors to an experience that goes beyond accommodation in a business and leisure district rich in distinct local culture. Belmont Hotel Iloilo, Megaworld’s latest hospitality project in Iloilo Business Park, introduces a unique take on city stays that has both the Iloilo character and the evolving rhythm of its urban landscape.
Set to open as the third hotel within the 72-hectare township, the development reinforces Iloilo Business Park as a destination where daily travel, commerce, and life in general coexist.
Expanding a hospitality footprint in Iloilo
Strategically located along Festive Walk Parade, Belmont Hotel Iloilo places guests within walking distance of key landmarks such as the Iloilo Convention Center and Festive Walk Iloilo. The 12-story property houses 405 rooms across a range of configurations, from compact twin and queen rooms to more spacious suites designed for longer stays.

Its arrival brings Megaworld Hotels & Resorts’ total inventory within the township to 880 room keys, accounting for a significant share of Iloilo City’s overall hotel supply. The addition also complements the group’s existing properties in the area, which further shape the district into a main hub for visitors.
“We are excited to offer a truly refreshing experience for everyone at Belmont Hotel Iloilo, and this chapter marks an important milestone in our commitment to help boost tourism in the Visayas. Iloilo continues to be a premier destination for local and international travelers, with Iloilo Business Park leading the way. We are proud to continue expanding our hospitality footprint in this township with a new and premier development for guests who want to experience the best of Iloilo’s thriving tourism and business scene,” says Cleofe Albiso, managing director of Megaworld Hotels & Resorts.
Designed with character and context
More than its scale, the hotel distinguishes itself through its design concept. Drawing inspiration from Miami’s Art Deco heritage, the building introduces a fresh visual identity within the township. The atmosphere inside shifts to a lighter, more playful tone, with interiors that blend mid-century influences and local cultural references.

Each room showcases curated works by Ilonggo artists, subtly weaving the city’s heritage into the guest experience. The inclusion of themed Kids Rooms—connected to adjacent accommodations—offers a new option for families, while specially designed rooms cater to guests with mobility needs.
The mini-art gallery on the second floor extends the hotel’s cultural focus, hosting rotating exhibits that highlight local creatives and artists. At the same level, the flexible ballroom and meeting spaces accommodate large gatherings and more intimate functions, a nod to the area’s dual role as a leisure and business destination.
Everyday comforts within reach
Amenities across the hotel are designed to support a range of routines, from leisure to wellness. A swimming pool and poolside lounge provide a more relaxed setting, while a fitness center and private spa rooms offer space for restoration. Dining options are equally varied, with Belmont Café serving modern interpretations of Ilonggo dishes, alongside additional outlets that cater to different moods throughout the day.
Positioned within Iloilo Business Park, the property is surrounded by museums, retail centers, offices, and residential developments, creating an environment where guests can move seamlessly between work, culture, recreation, and everyday living.
As Megaworld continues to expand its hospitality portfolio nationwide, Belmont Hotel Iloilo becomes part of a broader effort to deepen the connection between place and experience, offering stays that are not only convenient but also closely attuned to the identity of the city itself.
