Vermosa, Ayala Land Estates’ mixed-use development in Cavite, continues to position itself as a hub for active and balanced living with the launch of its Car-Free Sundays initiative. Designed as an accessible destination just outside Metro Manila, the estate is connected via Daang Hari Road, as well as key routes such as SLEX and MCX, making it a convenient setting for recreation and leisure.
Every Sunday, select roads within Vermosa are temporarily closed to vehicles, creating a shared space dedicated to walking, running, cycling, and other outdoor activities. The initiative encourages visitors to make use of open spaces in a way that supports both movement and social interaction, with weekly fitness sessions also available for those seeking guided workouts.
Beyond physical activity, the program is intended to foster a stronger sense of community within the estate. Families, fitness groups, and individuals gather in a setting that prioritizes people over vehicles, creating opportunities for interaction while promoting a more sustainable approach to urban living. By limiting car access during designated hours, the initiative also contributes to reduced emissions within the estate.

Open to the public, Car-Free Sundays welcomes visitors of all ages, including those with pets, provided shared-space guidelines are observed. Access to the estate is supported by designated parking areas and transport options, including routes from the Vermosa Transport Terminal, which operates daily from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM and connects to nearby areas such as Alabang and Imus.
Through this initiative, Vermosa highlights its broader vision of integrating movement, sustainability, and community into everyday life. As the program continues, it offers a recurring opportunity for visitors to experience the estate in a way that emphasizes both wellness and connection.
