Central Luzon residents were given a unique opportunity to explore affordable housing options during the recent Pag-IBIG Regional Housing Fair, held on March 18 and 19 at the LausGroup Event Centre in San Fernando, Pampanga. The two-day event showcased over 20,000 homes from across the region, giving aspiring homeowners the chance to navigate a variety of housing choices in one venue.
A gateway to accessible homeownership
Organized by Pag-IBIG Fund in partnership with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), the housing fair highlighted the government’s ongoing effort to expand access to safe, decent, and affordable homes. “Through the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program (4PH), we are making homeownership more accessible to more Filipino families,” said DHSUD Secretary and Pag-IBIG Fund Board Chairman Jose Ramon Aliling. “By bringing developers, financing institutions, and government agencies together, the Pag-IBIG Housing Fair offers aspiring homeowners an easier way to explore affordable options that match their needs and financial capacity. This initiative supports the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to help ensure that every Filipino family has access to safe, decent, and affordable housing.”
More than 40 developers and housing agencies participated, providing a spectrum of house-and-lot and socialized housing options. Attendees could inquire about available units, from socialized housing with monthly payments as low as PHP3,411 to selected house-and-lot units priced up to PHP1.8 million with monthly payments starting at PHP9,120 under promotional interest rates.
Supportive tools for aspiring homeowners
The fair also provided on-site guidance for housing loan applications, with the Pag-IBIG Lingkod team assisting visitors from initial inquiry to loan processing. Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene Acosta emphasized the importance of this support, saying that the Pampanga housing fair is the first in a series of regional housing fairs the agency will hold to bring more housing opportunities closer to its members. “By bringing together housing units from across the region in one venue and pairing them with affordable Pag-IBIG housing loan terms, we are helping make homeownership more accessible to Filipino workers and their families under the Marcos Administration’s Expanded 4PH program,” shared Acosta.
Beyond developer offerings, the event also featured over 3,000 Pag-IBIG-acquired assets available at discounted prices, providing additional avenues for families searching for affordable homes.

The event welcomed the public free of charge, with attendees encouraged to bring valid identification and proof of income for initial evaluations. Prospective homeowners could also pre-register through Pag-IBIG Fund’s official social media pages, streamlining the process and helping them make informed decisions about their next home.
