Two properties under SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation (SMHCC) strengthened their standing in the regional hospitality scene after receiving multiple recognitions at the Haute Grandeur Global Awards 2026.
Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay and Pico Sands Hotel in Pico de Loro Cove were honored across several categories, highlighting their distinct approaches to guest experience, leisure, and destination-driven hospitality.
Known as one of Tagaytay’s longstanding heritage hotels, Taal Vista Hotel received four awards during the international recognition program: Best Historical Hotel in Asia, Best Classic Hotel in the Philippines, Best Destination Hotel in the Philippines, and Best Destination Wedding Hotel in the Philippines.
Meanwhile, Pico Sands Hotel, located within the coastal development of Pico de Loro Cove, secured accolades for its resort and family-oriented offerings. The property was named Best Scenic Environment Hotel in Asia, Best All-Inclusive Family Resort in the Philippines, Best All-Inclusive Family Hotel in the Philippines, and Best Coastal Hotel in the Philippines.
The Haute Grandeur Global Awards recognizes hotels worldwide based on guest experience and satisfaction, honoring properties that consistently deliver high standards across service, facilities, and overall hospitality.
