Anvaya Cove Golf & Sports Club continues to set the standard for golf and leisure excellence in the Philippines, recently being named Best Golf Course in Southeast Asia and awarded the prestigious GEO Certification by the GEO Foundation for Sustainable Golf.
The distinction places Anvaya Cove among an elite group of only 18 golf facilities in Asia—and just the second in the Philippines—to hold this globally recognized ecolabel, affirming its leadership in sustainable design and operations.
According to the GEO Foundation, earning certification entails a comprehensive review of environmental stewardship, climate action, resource efficiency, and community participation. For developers and investors, this also underscores long-term value creation as sustainability becomes an essential criterion in real estate and tourism decisions.
Sustainability as core design philosophy
Anvaya Cove was commended for integrating sustainability into every aspect of its golf course management. The club has transitioned to endemic Zoysia turf grass, reduced dependence on imported hybrid species, and implemented a closed-loop irrigation system that uses recycled and treated water. Its operations now rely increasingly on renewable energy and battery-powered maintenance equipment, while a dedicated Materials Recovery Facility ensures efficient waste management and composting.
Tree planting and habitat preservation further enhance the estate’s natural carbon sinks, reflecting global best practices in low-impact development. These efforts have positioned Anvaya Cove as a regional model for sustainable golf course operations.

Carole Kerrey, Director of Certification, Data, and Credibility for GEO Foundation, noted that “one of the biggest aspects of certification is a commitment to continuous improvement,” adding that “the certification is not to be viewed just as a mark of distinction for what has been but a symbol of positive intentions and meaningful follow-through.”

A distinct vision of eco-luxury
Beyond its 82-hectare, 18-hole, par-72 course, Anvaya Cove represents Ayala Land Premier’s broader vision of eco-luxury—one that integrates family living, recreation, and conservation.
“[Anvaya] was envisioned as a model for how development and sustainability can coexist,” shared Manuel Illana, Premium RBG Planning Studio Head. “Anvaya was created not only as a place for families to gather but also as a community that respects, protects, and thrives with its natural environment.” He added, “What sets this course apart is its design in harmony with its surroundings—a vision recently recognized with the prestigious GEO Certification.”

The estate spans over 620 hectares, encompassing 17 residential neighborhoods and mid-rise residences such as Searidge Residences and Seabreeze Verandas. The Anvaya Beach & Nature Club and the Golf & Sports Club serve as its core amenities, offering residents and guests a lifestyle where refined living and environmental consciousness go hand in hand.
The Philippine destination with global recognition
Anvaya Cove’s continued international acclaim, including its ranking as the 19th best golf course in Asia by Travel International Golf Magazine and among the Top 100 Golf Courses Asia this year, affirms the Philippines’ growing stature in the global leisure real estate map.
For Ayala Land Premier, Anvaya’s achievement reflects its long-term commitment to sustainable luxury and community building—proof that development, when done responsibly, can both celebrate and preserve nature.
