Profriends, ABC sustain partnership for Westwind development in Lancaster New City

Property Company of Friends, Inc. (Profriends) is moving ahead with the continued development of Westwind through its renewed partnership with Archipelago Builders Corporation (ABC), reinforcing its long-term commitment to delivering integrated communities within Lancaster New City.

The partnership renewal was formalized in a recent contract signing, which also marks the start of construction for Westwind’s second residential building. The milestone reflects both companies’ shared goal of providing quality and sustainable living spaces designed for modern Filipino families.

Westwind forms part of Lancaster New City, Profriends’ flagship township development, which represents the company’s broader shift from traditional house-and-lot projects toward more integrated and urban-oriented residential communities.

Despite ongoing global uncertainties linked to the Middle East crisis, both Profriends and ABC said construction remains on schedule due to early planning and close coordination between teams and suppliers.

“We planned it well from the start, including securing materials ahead of time. We also have a good team that shares the same commitment to deliver what was promised. Another key success factor is our strong partnership with ABC,” says Profriends President Kathleen Choa.

Choa also emphasized the importance of collaboration in sustaining the project’s progress amid external pressures.

“It is a type of partnership built on good communication, trust, and a shared vision. We not only talk about the issues but also solve them together. That is what partnership is all about,” added Choa.

For ABC, the project carries a deeper sense of purpose tied to housing accessibility and long-term community building.

“Some companies- the better ones- work very hard to bring the cost down. And that is what Profriends is, as the company strives to make housing affordable to the families it serves. This gives more meaning and passion to what we do. So, the team and I are very proud to continue to work hard,” shares Paulo Lorenzo Pe, Chief Operating Officer of ABC.

Pe also underscored the contractor’s commitment to maintaining the partnership as construction progresses.

“I have full trust in Profriends…for our part, we will do our best to keep our partnership,” added Pe.

Established in 1965, ABC is recognized as a Category AAA contractor with experience in large-scale infrastructure and building developments across multiple sectors. Its expertise complements Profriends’ mission of “creating communities and transforming lives,” supporting projects that combine structural reliability with community-centered planning.

As Profriends continues to expand its residential portfolio, the collaboration with ABC highlights a shared focus on developing communities that respond to the evolving needs of Filipino homeowners. Beyond delivering residential units, both companies aim to create safe and future-ready environments designed to support long-term quality of life.

Profriends is among the country’s fastest-growing property developers, having delivered more than 64,000 homes to Filipino families since 1999. Alongside Lancaster New City in Cavite, the developer also has a presence in Iloilo through Parc Regency Residences.
